About Us
How It All Began....The Story of Chelle-Tone Productions & Tours What started as a chance meeting on a line dancing floor turned into a friendship and eventually blossomed into the entertainment and travel business we are today: Chelle-Tone Productions & Tours. Michelle had already been performing professionally as a vocalist for years. Tony was well-established in the entertainment industry, writing, producing and performing in dinner theater shows. Alongside her music career, Michelle owns Michelle’s Family Hair Salon, right here on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack. One day, after getting his hair cut, Tony had a wild idea—what if we wrote a two-act comedy set inside a hair salon like Michelle's, complete with zany characters and a mysterious body washing up on the beach behind it? That spark led to their first full production together: “Shear Madness: Murder’s In the Hair.” A two-act comedy thriller that hit the local stage by storm. The show became a local success and is now gearing up to go on the road to the Shawnee Playhouse in May of 2026.Tony had also been organizing occasional motor-coach trips, and the idea suddenly clicked…
Why not combine everything we already do?Entertainment. Travel. Hospitality. Creativity. All under one company.
And just like that, Chelle-Tone Productions & Tours was born—bringing audiences not only to the shows, but bringing the shows to the audiences.Where We’re Going from HereTony and Michelle have big plans for the next chapter, including:
Expanding dinner theater productions and comedy nights with touring options

Developing interactive mystery experiences and specialty travel packages
Launching destination trips to theaters, concerts, festivals, and cultural landmarks
Hosting fully customized private events—birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, bridal & baby showers, group celebrations
And yes… bringing “Shear Madness” and future productions to a stage near you!
